  • Light-weight

  • Budget-friendly

WP12 IP68 Smartphone

Oukitel WP12 is the first ruggedized phone to run Android 11 out of box, the new Android operating system on its own comes with great improvements on the security and graphics of Android 10. WP12 will inherit features such as conversation management, smart device control among others.

Talking of gaming, WP12 is powered by MediaTek Helio A22. With a quad-core processor ( 4 x ARM Cortex A53) which clocks at 1.8Ghz, paired with IMG PowerVR GE-class GPU and a 12nm process technology, you are guaranteed satisfactory performance.

WP12 also comes with a 4000mAh battery, enough for 22 hours of phone calls, 11 hours of streaming, and 10 hours of gaming. WP12’s reverse charging feature allows you to charge other devices.

For performance, WP12 relies on a 4GB eMMC RAM. WP12 also comes with 32GB internal storage memory but can be expanded to 2568GB using a microSD card for all your files, pictures, and videos.

We can’t talk about a phone without talking about cameras. In the rear, WP12 features a 13MP SONY IMX135 5P camera paired with an auxiliary camera. The front features a 5MP AI selfie camera for great self-portraits. Special modes such as HDR, night modes, beautify modes, bokeh modes enhance your pictures.

DESIGNED FOR CONVENIENCE

WP12, although designed to be tough, also has some level of elegance to it. The front just like ruggedized phones features a display made of corning gorilla glass. The speaker and a front camera can be found on the top bevel.

The edges are a different story, the right side features the volume up and down buttons and the power button. The left side has the custom button which can be customized to do a number of things such as taking pictures underwater. The top carries the 3.5mm headphone jack for your earpiece whereas the bottom houses the USB-C port to charge your device. The edges also have grooves strategically placed to improve grip.

The back designs employ line patterns to achieve a unique look. The textures don’t just serve an aesthetic purpose, they also help with grip to prevent the device from slipping during usage. The letter “NFC” is engraved somewhere in the middle of the back. The bottom side has the “Oukitel” brand name neatly placed.

Another interesting design choice is the robot-inspired camera bump at the back. The rear cameras and the flashlights are arranged to look like the eye and mouth of a robot.

So to sum it up, this device is compact but the cherry on top is its light weightlessness. WP12 weighs only 237g, a property that enhances portability.

IP68 & IP69K AND MIL-STD-810G TESTS

It is no secret all ruggedized phones from Oukitel undergo the IP68 and IP69K tests. WP12 was tested under close environmental conditions and it passed all the tests. Meaning:

  • Wp12 is water-resistant at a depth of 1.5m for 30 mins

  • Drop-proof from a height of 1.5m

Wp12’s military-standard tests certification should come as no surprise to anybody who knows Oukitel phones. Our phones are built to be tough, strong, and resilient, WP12 is no exception.
